|
Talented engineers to build a Design-in support team for Connectivity mobile platform development at its San Jose, CA, facility.
The team provides support to our customers in debugging and resolving software defects in Bluetooth mobile applications during development. The main areas of responsibility of this position include direct interface between development teams and end customers, debugging the chipsets during development, testing, field trials, qualifications, and approval phases, reporting to Connectivity Support Mgr and Marketing Mgr, with regular interfacing with customers.
EOE/M/F/D/V
In-depth knowledge of Bluetooth Software Stack structures, protocols/drivers and standards. In-depth knowledge of Windows, Windows CE and LINUX Drivers are paramount to success in this position.
Wifi SW stack knowledge or Wlan/BT Coexistence experience is a plus.
C programming and debugging experience, usage of ARM7/9 cores and tools, RTOS experience is a must.
BSEE or MSEE and 5+ years of related experience is required.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in customer support, Successful experience in the technical support of development of embedded and hosted Bluetooth designs from specification products. Must have a solid understanding of Bluetooth chipset architecture, software applications, and protocol stack. Good communication skills, flexible work hours and ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
Possible temporary relocation to customer sites.
