FunMobility is seeking an engineering architect with strong application development experience to lead the client software team and deliver some of the most exciting and advanced projects in the company. This position focuses on developing image, video, audio, gaming and community based applications for mobile devices. Specifically, you will be responsible for creating, enhancing, maintaining and integrating new technologies into consumer facing applications as well as building a team of talented engineers. This position is best suited for candidates with software architecture in their background and experience leading small groups of engineers. Required Skills: • 7+ years of C/C++ experience including 1 to 2 years minimum of hands on mobile application development for Qualcomm BREW. • Experience with BREW multi-media and web APIs. • 5+ years application development experience • Strong object oriented design skills. • Experience in client and server protocols where the mobile phone is the client. • A general understanding of all issues involved in debugging, testing, deploying and supporting a BREW mobile applications. • Knowledge of J2ME is a huge plus. • Experience leading small groups of software engineers in developing software for the mobile phone. • Excellent communication skills. • Detail focused and well organized. • Highly motivated, flexible, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects.
