Job Description
|
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering combined with a sound understanding in the fundamentals of digital and RF circuitry.
• 8 to 10 years experience in the high volume, high tech, mix signal electronic product manufacturing environment. Start up company experience is an asset.
• Very knowledgeable of statistical methods governing continuous improvement through the testing process.
• Must be highly process oriented and proficient in data collection and analysis.
• Minimum five (5) years experience (designing), troubleshooting and repairing digital and/or analog/RF systems to the component level.
• Well rounded in reading, understanding and interpreting schematics and technical papers.
• Very experienced with the use of measuring instruments such as high-end oscilloscopes, Spectrum and Network analyzers.
• Keenly aware of measuring techniques and limitations of measuring instruments.
• Knowledgeable in programming languages such as C++, Visual Basic, or Java, Labview
• Strong aptitude to independent research
• Able to travel up to 25 % of the time to support CM sites outside the GTA
• Excellent negotiating, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• A strong team player
• Results oriented and highly self motivated
