|
Must Have:
Direct hands on experience designing, testing, troubleshooting, debugging and fixing RF circuits for Mobile Phones. The resume must indicate a level of involvement greater than just testing and evaluating. The candidate must be able to add value by actually creating something new, fixing something that does not work or solving problems.
Direct experience designing and/or optimizing UMTS (Also called Wideband CDMA) Transmit circuits is highly desired. If the candidate does not have this then he/she must at least have solid hands on experience (multiple years designing and/or optimizing) Receivers and Transmitters for all of the following: GSM, GPRS, EDGE.
Experience designing and optimizing RF matching circuits.
Experience optimizing layout of PWB (also called PCB) to solve EMI or EMC or Desense or other RF issues.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 3 years industry work experience since completing Bachelor's degree.
Desired (but not a show stopper):
Experience with RF circuit design and simulation tools such as ADS, Ansoft, etc. is desired.
Training in HSDPA is desired (hands on experience is preferred but a training class is OK).
Demonstrated ability to lead a small team of engineers working on a development project. This is technical leadership, not project management or line management.
Prefer at least 5 years industry work experience since completing Bachelor's degree.
Experience providing on site factory support is desired.
