Job Description
|
Must have demonstrated working knowledge of automated testing tools and other programming environments. Candidate will have demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP based network protocols and supporting technologies such as bridging and routing architectures, IPSec, VLANs, SNMP, 802.11 and other wireless protocols, network management, security, traffic management and quality of service. Expert level knowledge of Linux/Unix administration along with build/test/configuration automation tools such as scripting languages and other programming environments.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years experience in Java/JSP, RMI, TCP/IP, XML or Linux testing
3+ years experience in designing and implementing automated test libraries
Experience in building test utilities and automated test scripts.
Knowledge of network traffic and authentication protocols (SNMP, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, VoIP, LDAP, Radius, LEAP/EAP, etc.)
Ability to configure network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) a plus
Ability to program customized scripts for control of the operating system environment, network configuration, etc. using Perl, shell, PHP, C/C++, etc. a plus
Experience in Java/JSP, RMI, and XML a plus
B.S degree in Computer Science, EE/CE or equivalent Technical degree
Demonstrated ability to work with software teams to translate technical requirements into full coverage automated test modules
Effective written and oral communication skil
